wonderful things are happening in my studio
Even though I haven’t even had a chance to touch my sewing machine today, I still wanted to share something amazing that’s happening right now in my studio.
My night-blooming cereus is in bloom!
Each bloom is over 6 - 7 inches across and only lasts one night. I’ve had my plant for several years and this is only the second year it’s bloomed - it’s a real gift to have three buds - there was only one flower last year!
This is the front of the flower, through my studio window.
Hopefully I can get some sewing done tomorrow :-)

That is really beautiful. I would be excited too. Almost like Christmas morning waiting for it to bloom.
