unique vintage fabric finds
I was recently given this lovely old tea towel, that was originally my Nana’s:

It’s definitely been well used, there are a few spots, some wear & tear… and I think it might have accidentally been washed with a red t-shirt at some point in it’s history :-)
But, I love the flower print and the fabric itself it still in pretty good condition - I don’t think it’s going to get used as a tea towel anymore! I’m thinking about using the fabric to create a covered notebook, maybe even embroidering the flowers… I could also scan it and print the flowers out onto silk or cotton fabric too! I bet I could even use it to make a little purselet.
See - being creative will give you so many options… it’s not just a tea towel anymore!

Maybe after embroidering the flowers you could frame at least a part of it like you did some of fabrics a couple of posts back. Or use it as a mat for one of your favorite pictures.

That’s an awesome idea Karen! I think they’d look really pretty with one flower showing in a square picture frame… too many ideas - not enough time LOL!
