excuse me, I’m having a girly moment

I’ve got my test skirt done.
I’m one happy camper!
No, I’m sorry you can’t see it quite yet.  I still need to iron it… and hem it… and finish stitching the waistband on :-)
Other than that it looks great!
I used an irridescent smoke-grey taffeta, kind of like this:

it’s been a fun day
