Tangled Thread - Tips, Trick and Tutorials in Sewing & Stitching

Silkweaver

by Deb on June 10th, 2006

For those of you who shop at Silkweaver, they are relocated and open for business. Galyndean from the LJ Haberdashery Cross Stitch Community posted up a notice regarding this. :)

From Silkweaver’s EZboard forums (which look pretty useful):

Almost settled! :-) Whew - what a wild month it’s been! We are finally here in Florida and are ready for things to get back to normal. We’ve even have lots of new Classics Linens color for you and are also planning a new sale!

We would like to say that we THANK YOU very much for your patience, kind words, and loyalty during our relocation. It’s been far more complicated than I ever imagined and “Murphy’s Law” has certainly proven true. :rolleyes

In addition to the flat tire on the moving truck during the first trip and our house closing falling through at the last minute that I had already posted about, we had many more “adventures” so to speak. The movers did not have room in the truck for all of our belongings, so will have to make another trip next week! :\ Also, many of you know that one of our children has a chronic lung disease and is hospitalized quite frequently. As luck would have it, he had a flare-up late last week and ended up being hospitalized. :( He started out in the intensive care unit, but is now in a private room (with internet access - yay!). He got to spend one night in his new room in our new house before going into the hospital. He’s being quite a trooper about it though. Hopefully by the end of the week, he will be discharged and we will finally all be “home” together. :D

Helen (”dyelady”) is all settled in her new home and enjoying the Tallahassee area. She has already dyed and shipped most all of the orders that were received up through around the 24th of May, including the backorders from earlier. She also has created the new colors I mentioned earlier, and is eager to get things rolling again. :rollin

We’ll get those new colors on the website for you just as soon as Corey is home and settled, which hopefully will be by the weekend.

If you have been waiting to place an order, now is the time! :) We should be back to our 10-day shipping schedule just as before. FOTMs have started back also, so watch your mailbox if you receive a monthly goodie package.

Once again, we thank you for your patience!!!!

Tracy
