SBQ - Cross Stitch Books

by Deb on June 14th, 2006

Today’s SBQ was suggested by Angela
and is:
How many cross stitch books do you own and how often do you use them?

I only own one book currently that actually has “Cross stitch” in the title, and one book of Christmas type charts. I have about five hardcover books related to embroidery in various forms, as well as another five or ten that just focus on cultural motifs or alphabets. And then there is my small collection of old Work Basket magazines, most of which have some form of needlework project for cross stitch or embroidery in them (though the focus tended to be upon knit, crochet and tatting.)

I only use them when I want to find a project to work on, or to look up how to stitch some sort of specialty stitch. Occasionally I look through my books and magazines for inspiration.
