needlework rotation revised
After a week or two of experimenting with my initial rotation, I’ve decided to scrap the “you must work on Project A on Monday” course of action. Embroidery, while I enjoy it, doesn’t satisfy the same creative addiction that cross stitch does. The “embroidery days” became “needlework avoidance days”. I don’t expect that I’ll have the desire or time to stitch every day, but to not stitch at all on a day wherein I have both, simply because the assigned task is unappealing seems a shame.
So I am liberated from the not-flexible daily schedule, and have left it simply as 3 current projects to alternate between. As I get tired of working on one, I can pick up one of the others. This also leaves room in my week to work on small projects if something sparkles with too much allure to ignore. :D
So what does this leave me with as active projects?
Coffee is Magic
Egyptian Sampler
Lorri’s Needlecase
And now I am off to do some gold metallic backstitching on the needlecase!

What a nice site! perhaps you would like to visit mine! http://sipandsew.blogspot.com/ My hands can’t do hand embroidery anymore so I sew with my embroidery machine.

You’ll finish the two small projects very quickly and will be able to add new ones to your list. Will be same as my rotation, one BAP and few smalls.

Gail: I am completely intimidated by machine embroidery! :) Sometimes I watch a PBS show that highlights the long-arm embroidery machine.. wow. It is pretty impressive the things people can make with a machine.
Ternezia: And do I ever have a long long list of smalls I want to stitch, lol! I hope the needlecase goes more quickly as I get used to the hardanger stitches. :D
