I love to design my own patterns for almost anything I make.  That list includes hand & machine embroidery, cross-stitch, needlepoint & crochet (just to name a few!)

It can be a real challenge to try and graph a new pattern out if you don’t have the correct aspect ratio of graph paper (ei if you have paper for knitting and you need paper for bead weaving)

Incompetech.com (love the tagline, “ugly website, brilliant content” offers a flexible online generator for graph paper.  Simply type in how many squares wide by how many squares deep, choose the paper size and voila - you have printable graph paper!
