Lazy days and Stitching
A long holiday weekend for many, and our family was no exception. The weather was absolutely beautiful, and we spent it outdoors as much as possible. Needless to say, not much in the way of indoor leisure was accomplished. I discovered my range between laptop and wireless was more limited than I’d hoped, which dashed my plans of blogging from the swing.
Today, today is one of those days that just shouts for it to be Monday, so how delightful that it really is Monday. It started last night with the Thundering and the Lightning, pitter-pattered all through the night, and has morphed between rain, sleet, snow, mini-hail, randomly ever since.
Despite the weather conspiring against weeding the rose garden, it is giving me the perfect excuse, er, justification, for sitting around indoors and working on my cross stitch. I’d hoped to be further along with Frederick by now, and able to share a lovely update pic. It will have to wait until after I’ve spent the rest of the day (and maybe tomorrow?) curled up in a warm comfy blanket, with a mug of something hot to drink, and stitched away the hours.
