I got a call from my hubby this morning, asking if we were free to attend a concert this weekend.

Oh, by the way - it’s black tie.

Time for some quick thinking…
I’ve got several yards of this:
Or at least some embroidered black chiffon that looks awfully close to that (image: House of Fabric) I think it would look great in this skirt pattern:

Especially if I made skirt “B” with a black sash - which I could then pair with my ivory silk duppioni blouse… and I think I’m good!
