just a brief safety reminder
I consider myself fairly competent with tools. I own several power tools, I’ve taken classes - I spent my teenage years on a farm… And yet, somehow I still managed to do this to my arm yesterday:

I was using an unfamiliar (and in my opinion) poorly designed, lightweight craft drill. I lost control and sliced my arm up - luckily it’s all surface cuts, but boy that hurt!
I’ve seen people sew through their fingers (the needle snapped when it hit bone) my mom once had this happen in her studio and I’m sure we’ve all stuck seam rippers into our hands more than once.
Just remember, our studio tools are still powerful or sharp enough to cause damage - please be careful!

Thanks you guys! It’s actually not as bad as it looks - just a very good lesson in being careful.
