in honor of Earth Day
Since today is Earth Day I thought I should also post something appropriate :-)
Totebags, totebags and more totebags… oh dear, remind me to wash my totebags too!
They’re easy to make, great for using up those 1/2 yard pieces of fabric that you just can’t throw away… and are also great for the planet.
Toss a totebag in your car instead of needing to use paper or plastic bags.
I carry my work shoes in a totebag.
When I’m teaching, everything gets packed up into totebags.
I’ve even been known to put my recyling into totebags (hey - it makes it easier to carry!)
And of course, there are tons of fun patterns for stitched, quilted, painted, embroidered or embellished totebags out there too!
