I thought I should introduce myself and share a few things with you all…
First of all, I’ve been blogging since 2005 and took on my first professional blogging gig in 2006. I seem to have caught the blogging bug, with 5 pro blogs - as well as several of my own personal blogs!
As well as blogging, I’m also a art & craft teacher. I teach adult & child jewelry classes, kids painting, drawing and mixed media classes. Just to keep it interesting, I like to add origami or classes to the mix :-) In the past I’ve taught children’s sewing lessons as well.
I’m an artist, who creates art using fabric, although I originally trained as a painter using acrylics and watercolor. I do a lot of sewing and even create one-of-a-kind purses.
If that’s not enough - I’m also a puppeteer, although I’m taking some time off performing right now. During the 2005-2006 school year, I performed puppet shows for almost 15,000 childen!
I’m happily married, and share my life with three dogs, two finches, two goldfish and a small but very bossy parrot. My collection of tropical houseplants it threatening to take over my studio.
