using snow to dye fabric

I love to dye my own fabrics - but it’s not something I like doing in the winter time.  I prefer to have a well-ventilated studio to work in :-)
This process may change my mind though…
Kelly has detailed the process of using snow to create lovely hand-dyed fabrics - very cool!

hand made Christmas stockings

One of the Christmas traditions in my house is stockings filled on Christmas Eve.  I made stockings a few years ago using velvet & upholstery samples for my parent & brother.  My new sister-in-law misplaced her childhood stocking in a move and hasn’t found one to replace it.

the world’s quickest Christmas gift
